Happy Birthday, Naim!

'Aiman' means the lucky ones while 'Naim' means comfort, ease, tranquility.
When Firhad discovered that another baby is coming, he looked at me dubiously and asked “When?...Bila masanya?” Duh!…as if!
The name ‘Naim’ came long before we got married hi hi hi. So, on Firhad’s birthday when our gynae affirmed that I was carrying a hero, we were pretty much prepared what to name our son.
Naim, like his sister was an overdue case. Najwa was delivered 14 days after the EDD whilst Naim 10 days. I guess they were pretty comfortable in my womb, heh.
Naim is a thumb-suckler even while still in the womb. We have the scanned photo somewhere (yeah, somewhere!). We are still figuring out how to get rid of his habit. ‘Still’ because I thought he looks cute that way…but now with crooked thumb and gapped tooth *rolled eye* this habit need to be dealt with. Pronto!
Naim was a late bloomer. He took his first step when he was 1 year old. He speaks with a lisp. His mouth pouts as he speaks and if you really listen, you would understand him and might just be as excited as he is. He insists that I bathe him every morning. He would anxioulsy looking for Atuk's Tongkat Ali Coffee on the dining table hoping that Atuk leaves some for him. That boy. I dont know if the coffee has any physical effect on him..even if there's any i'm sure he would benefit from it.
Naim's fav breakfast is roti canai with kuah dal, somehow he's not into western food like his Abah. He likes nasi..and nasi only. He would ethically pick his nose in the bathroom and later exhibit his findings. He brushes his teeth on his own, refuse to guggle and would swallow the 'yummy' toothpaste. I love him!
Firhad thinks I spoilt him and that he clings too much on me. Well, I think all Naim needs is a baby brother or sister or both. tra la la!
Naim my dear, Ibu and Abah loves you. Be kind to Kakak, she loves you more than you think.
Happy 3rd Birthday, sayang! Bawak-bawak la main basikal baru tu.

When I was younger, I was a thumb sucker too. It became so bad that my jari became runcing, as my mom told me. She took me to the doctor who told me that if I continued to suck my thumb, it would fall off. He then put on some 'medicine' (entah apa pun tatau) and wrapped it up in a huge bandage. And from then on, I gave up thumbsucking heheheh
